Episcopal Visitation – The Feast of All Saints’ Day

The Most Reverend Mark Haverland, the Metropolitan of the Anglican Catholic Church and Bishop Ordinary of the Diocese of the South visited St. Benedict’s Anglican Church for his official annual Episcopal Visitation during the Feast of All Saints’ Day. As part of his official visit, the Archbishop instituted and inducted the Reverend Father Nicholas James Harrelson as the fourth Rector of the parish, he baptized six individuals, confirmed seventeen, and received eight. The parish welcomed just under one hundred people to the Pontifical High Mass celebrated at 10:00 am. It was truly a big and beautiful occasion for the parish and all its parishioners!

As part of the celebrations, the parish was pleased to host our singers, who provided a beautiful Mass setting from Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina’s Missa Astern Christi munera (Mass of the Eternal Gifts of Christ) published in 1590.
