Donate to St. Benedict’s Anglican Church

St. Benedict’s Anglican Church is a rapidly growing traditional Anglo-Catholic parish in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The church was founded in 1981 and has resided at its current location for forty-five years. The current building was once a Montessori School, and while it has provided us a home for many years, well situated in a beautifully scenic wooded landscape, we have quickly outgrown its footprint.

The Vision Ahead

Together, Fr. Nicholas Harrelson and the Vestry have worked with a Denver-based traditional Roman Catholic architecture firm, to design a beautiful new building in which to continue growing our community. The new building is purpose-designed and built to reflect the traditional Anglo-Catholic aesthetic that is indicative of our particular expression of the Christian tradition. While the current building has provided us with a temporary home, the new building provides us with the space we need to continue growing and is reflective of the Anglo-Catholic tradition that defines our worship and our spirituality.
