This past week, St. Benedict’s Anglican Church started a much needed update to the sanctuary. Below are some in progress photos of the updating which will ultimately include repairing and painting the ceiling of both the sanctuary and chapel spaces, painting the chapel space to match the sanctuary, opening a large viewing window between the chapel and sanctuary – which ultimately makes it possible to expand our seating by an additional thirty chairs, repainting the entirety of the sanctuary, repainting the altar, and finally redoing the flooring throughout. The flooring project will take place shortly after the completion of the rest.
Beginning this Monday, September 28th, the Parish Hall will temporarily be unusable during the week. It will, however, be completed by the following Sunday. We will be doing the same updates in the Parish Hall, with the flooring being done simultaneous to the Sanctuary and likely a week or so later.
We are very excited to get these much needed updates done to the interior of the building. It is a very tangible sign of just how much the parish has grown over the last year!
